The items in this book are huge in nutrient value, and if eaten on a consistent basis will transform you completely.
If you eat correctly, and incorporate the foods your body craves, then the nonsense of counting calories goes away. I say this because you will find very few references to calories in this guide.
The correct food will let your body tell you when it’s had enough. Your metabolism will soar and unwanted fat is not stored. What a great way to go on a diet without going on a diet!

While the information is valuable, it's hard to get past the grammatical and punctuation errors in this “book“ that is really more of a pamphlet. That said, I did actually learn a few tidbits about some of the foods she classifies as “superfoods.“ I would have liked to have seen some of her justifications for choosing these 11 foods (she includes a “bonus“ food, which seems silly-- why not just call it the top 11? In fact, it would have given the book a more unique gimmick than the same old top ten this, top ten that, etc.) There are lots of other foods I would add to such a list, so I found myself asking, why not sweet potatoes? Why not (insert super food here)? Also, the foods she lists aren't typically “paleo.“ They're simply some of the world's healthiest foods. If the author were to specifically highlight “paleo“ foods, I would have expected a few more proteins than just the one she included. All in all, for just 99¢ it was mildly helpful, but nothing I didn't already know. Best part about the “list" is that all the foods on it are easy to find at the market, affordable for the most part, and easy to prepare. She includes a few recipes, though I would like to have seen more.

This has got to be on my list of faves for Paleo cookbooks. Though only one recipe is given for each food listed, they were dishes my tastebuds favor. Well organized, simple, and easy to use. Definitely recommend it.
I love this book. It details the 10 top foods for Paleo eaters. It has quick easy recipes and provides an easy "on the go" way to eat the foods that keep you feeling full and are good for you. It's a good resource to look back on over and over.
I loved this book. I learned about the delicious, healthy foods that I really should be eating every week, and they're not exotic or expensive additions to my eating plan. All are highly recommended in most articles I've read on nutrition. Just what I needed to learn about!
It's a great start towards being healthy! I normally use these ten diet foods but find' t know how healthy I was eating...is good to know what we put in our body. Love the recommendations and will follow to get a healthier body. Thank you so much...I recommend reading and follow up for a healthier life.
Whether you are eating Paleo or not, this book is a wealth of information on some of the many wonderful superfoods that are a great idea to include in your daily diet. The author includes at least one recipe with each one, and they sound delicious! I can't wait to try the chunky avocado salsa and the baked apples. A great book to have on your bookshelf.
I was skeptical about this book to be honest. I mean how good could a book so short be right? But in the end it has really inspired me and I realized that it's short because there is no unneeded, annoying fluff. Just straight up valuable info and simplification that finally makes me feel like I actually have a chance at starting a healthy more fulfilling life through the paleo diet. Thank you Annabelle Thorn and bravo!
I like her humor and her excitement definitely comes through in her writing. I am pretty much starting Paleolithic tmrw I want to lose 5 pounds but I would look amazing if I could get down to my goal weight of 112 which will require a loss of 12 pounds (last I checked).
I promised myself that I would never do Atkins or HCG again (unless it was an emergency) my partner is gluten intolerant so I have most of the flour substitutions for baking as neither one of us drink milk almond and soy are also in the fridge.
This book got right to the point. Gave a brief into and a few fun historical facts about the food in question (which I love) followed up with its amazing health benefits and closed it up with a very simple and tasty quick recipe (which I thank her for) I am literally going to go buy some avocados , bananas , cabbage, cauliflower, spinach, walnuts, sunflower seeds, blueberries and apples tmrw (plus some flax seed, meat and salmon (not a fan but I'll do it (.
